OIC Pursues Strenuous Efforts to Realize Political Stability in the Middle East

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is pursuing strenuous efforts to realize political stability in the Middle East and North Africa in order to find a way out of nascent economic crisis in the region through promoting governance, democracy, rule of law, human rights and tolerance, OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsan oglu.
Addressing a dinner held in Doha today on the sidelines of U.S.-Islamic World forum, Ihsan oglu pointed out that OIC is guided in action by its new charter and a decade-long working plan, approved in 2005, which cherishes wide-scale dialogue to bring about peace and political stability in OIC member states.
