King Faisal University and Japanese Kanazawa University have signed a scientific cooperation agreement during a visit paid to Japan by Rector of King Faisal University, Dr. Yousuf Al-Jandan. The agreement provides for cooperation between the two universities in the areas of education, scientific researches, training, organization of scientific meetings and the exchanges of students. During the visit, Dr. Al-Jandan has held meetings with rectors of a number of Japanese universities and discussed with them the enhancement of scientific relations and scholarships between the two sides. Saudi Cultural Attaché in Japan, Dr. Issam Bin Amanullah Bukhari said that the visit of the delegation of King Faisal University comes in the framework of activating the memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Japan signed by the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari during his visit to Japan in July, 2010.
