The Ugandan capital Kampala will host the First GCC-Ugandan Investment Forum, scheduled to start its two-day works on May 28. It will be formally opened by the President of the Republic to Uganda, Yoweri Museveni. The event will be organized by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of The Gulf Cooperation Council States in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Islamic Development Bank Group. The Forum aims at taking advantage of the opportunities available in the GCC countries and the Republic of Uganda and boost trade between the two sides.
