Somalia's prime minister, Mohamed Abdullah Farmajo, quit Sunday, days after a deal was reached between the president and parliament to delay elections in return for his resignation, as dpa reported. "Considering the interest of the Somali community, and looking at the current conditions in Somalia, I have decided to relinquish office," Farmajo said. The agreement, known as the Kampala Accord, was signed in Uganda and mediated by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
