Centrepoint launches new collections, products in Dubai

DUBAI — Centrepoint, the region's largest retailer, has launched here the new winter collection as well as small collection for Eid in the whole Gulf area on Sunday.

Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Ruban Shanmugarajah, general manager of babyshop in Dubai, said that they have a new small collection for boys and girls for Eid that will last until the end of September. This collection is focusing on fashionable dresses as if they were princesses and for the boys, semiformal suites are the most recommended.

The winter collection is focusing on a new theme when it comes to girls which is dressing like their mothers “like a mother like a daughter”. The girls dresses are elegant having several winter colors such as the gray and dark blue.

Because many girls like frozen, there is a small section for clothes that have frozen pictures and also there are several sections for other famous cartoon characters.

Centrepoint has lined up three shirts with cartoon characters as part of its winter collection for around AED89 only.

Babyshop has more than 25 designers. They have also section for female and males teenagers.

The second line of the winter collection will be launched in October in the whole Gulf area.

Since Centrepoint is committed to satisfying all its customer needs, it has introduced footwear and bags named Shoe Mart. Qurratulain Rizvi, one of the women's footwear designers in Shoe Mart, has various footwear collection for Eid that suite the morning and evening gatherings.

There are four in-house brands and around 15 or more international brands such as Elle.

The shoes are not only fashionable, with some of them suitable for practical days.

Splash, which is part of Centrepoint, also launched dresses for women, and most of them are black and gold. There are special sections related to different era. A section for seventies theme for the females, while a nineties section for the males.

There is also section for sport-minder people.

Colorful clothes for females who have certain likings for the style are also available in the store.

Lifestyle also has several products for hair as well as a nice makeup for females with varying prices.

Two new hairdryers are rolled out in the Emirate, one is named “Juicy” and it cost less than AED500.

It will be launched in Saudi Arabia soon.
