In the presence of a high level representative of the Indian Embassy and many businessmen, diplomats and journalists, Zaika Restaurant, which serves several dishes in Indian style and flavor, was inaugurated in Al Aqarya Plaza in Riyadh. Anil Nautiyal expressed his pleasure at the launch of the Zaika restaurant, adding that such restaurants are considered communication bridge between the Saudi and Indian cultures and between the two friendly nations. Majed Kaki, CEO of Kaki Group, indicated that the inaugurated restaurant represents an actual translation of the company's orientation to provide this unique experience to the residents and visitors of Riyadh city. He added that Zaika's advantages lie in serving a new menu that combines a mix of Hijazi recipes cooked in an Indian style, along authentic Indian dishes, which are among the most desired dishes of Zaika such as the chicken Molokhia dish that is served in a new way. The novelty of using original brass serving dishes adds to the flavor and the Zaika experience, he said, adding that the internal paintings of the entire restaurant were designed by one of the most famous Indian artists in Saudi Arabia. It is worthwhile to mention that the choice of the chefs of Zaika restaurant and training them was done in cooperation with Salman Khan, the owner of a famous chain of Indian restaurants in London and one of the senior consultants in the Indian kitchen world. The selected chefs were also trained at Kaki family's domicile for one year approximately, then employed in the restaurant after improving the invented menu and ensuring the quality that is necessary for a five star restaurant. Zaika Riyadh's grand opening is a part of Kaki group's chain of restaurants such as Il Gibbiano's Italian restaurant (Riyadh branch) and Al Shurafa restaurant (Riyadh branch). The group plans to open new restaurants all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the near future. — SG
