Mansour Bin Jumah and Sons Holding Company, a pioneering leisure, hospitality and tourism corporation in Saudi Arabia has opened on Feb. 18 the renowned fine-dining Indian restaurant in Riyadh, Maharaja East by Vineet. The high-profile inauguration was attended by a group of VIPs including ambassadors and senior business executives.
Mansour Bin Jumah and Sons Holding Company, has brought the new fine-dining establishment to the capital city to cater to food lovers looking for an authentic Indian gourmet experience. Since 2008, they have an excellent partnership with Chef Vineet Bhatia at the Mövenpick Hotel Al Khobar. They collaborated with the three-time Michelin-starred chef, Vineet Bhatia for the landmark project Maharaja East by Vineet in Riyadh.
“The opening of the new Maharaja East by Vineet in Riyadh marks another milestone for our growing company,” said Dr Khaled Bin Jumah, Executive Manager of Mansour Bin Jumah and Sons Holding Company. “Our strategic investment is part of our efforts to consistently broaden our portfolio and provide one-of-a-kind services across our target industries. Housed in a three-story building designed with modern, sophisticated furnishings, Maharaja East by Vineet can seat 142 guests and features an atrium, family dining area, private dining rooms, tandoori kitchen, boardroom and open terraces. It is the latest addition to Vineet Bhatia's thriving list of gourmet Indian restaurants located all over the world, including London, Switzerland, Mauritius, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and India.

Maharaja East by Vineet in Riyadh is housed in a three-storey building designed with modern, sophisticated furnishings and with a total capacity of 142 guests, the restaurant is managed by the globe-trotting, Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia. The restaurant offers authentic dishes with masterful combinations of complex flavors, innovative seasonings and textures from traditional times in India, but in a lighter and fresher manner. Maharaja East by Vineet features an atrium, family dining area, private dining rooms, tandoori kitchen, boardroom and open terraces.
Vineet Bhatia is widely regarded as the face of modern Indian cuisine. He created history in 2001 by being the first Indian Chef-Patron to get the Michelin star for his restaurant and yet again in 2009, as being the only Indian chef to have the coveted star for each of his restaurants in London and Geneva. — SG
