MADINAH — An EgyptAir plane bound for Riyadh made an emergency landing at Prince Muhammad International Airport in Madinah following technical glitch Thursday afternoon, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Ibrahim Al-Kashi, director general of the Aviation Investigation Office, said the pilot sought permission for emergency landing after detecting a technical fault in the plane's hydraulic system. All emergency crew at the airport were put on alert and the plane landed safely. No injuries were reported during the incident. There were 147 passengers and six crew members on board the flight, which was coming from the Egyptian city of Alexandria.
