A plane that belongs to Saudi Airlines carrying 122 passengers and 7 crew members landed safely at the Tabuk Regional Airport on Thursday en route from Riyadh after suffering from a technical fault in its landing gear. Abdulhamid Aba Al-Ura, official spokesman for the General Commission of Civil Aviation, said in a statement that a state of emergency of second-class was declared at the Tabuk Regional Airport after having received information on the malfunction from the pilot of the plane, type MD90, flight no. 1559. He pointed out that the airport management and concerned bodies immediately activated appropriate emergency procedures, took all necessary preparations to receive the plane and the passengers and crew members were disembarked safely.
