QATIF — Police arrested 71 illegal expatriates after police and the labor office ran an inspection campaign in the governorate. Qatif Police reported 15 of the detainees lived in the country in violation of residency regulations, 12 violated Article 39 of the Labor Law which states expatriates are not allowed to freelance, eight violated work permit laws and nine violated Article 38 of the Labor Law which states expatriates must do the job stated in their work permit.
