JEDDAH — Inspection tours by the Ministry of Labor with the participation of Public Security that targeted the gold and jewelry sector in 47 cities and governorates led to the arrests of 63 workers for violating labor and residency regulations. In total, 71 residency and labor law violations were registered. The violations included those of Article 39 concerning working under one's sponsor and Article 38 concerning working in one's profession. More than 330 inspectors from the Ministry of Labor and 165 policemen participated in the campaign.
