Hospitality Qatar '15 to showcase latest HORECA solutions
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 17 - 08 - 2015

JEDDAH – Hospitality Qatar, a leading hospitality, hotel and franchise exhibition in the region, will be held in October of this year presenting global turnkey solutions to the hospitality and HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) sector. To be held on Oct. 13-15, 2015 at the Doha Exhibition Centre (DEC) under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar's Minister of Economy and Commerce, the show will provide an excellent platform for local, regional and international HORECA suppliers to meet hospitality professionals from across the region. It will also provide franchise brands, hotel groups, developers, banks and consultants with the opportunity to network and explore new business prospects with hotels and franchise investors.

Rawad Sleem, Project Manager of Hospitality Qatar 2015, said “I am happy to announce that 86% of exhibition space has been acquired by various companies such as suppliers and manufacturers from all over the world who are eager to penetrate the Qatari and other regional markets and capitalize on the tremendous growth opportunities that exist. Based on the findings of our market study, we have identified the need of regional HORECA professionals for a one-stop networking event that offers global solutions from hotel investment, construction and design to food and beverage supply and hence Hospitality Qatar will feature all aspects of the hotel and franchise market in the Gulf region.”

In order to enhance the experience of both exhibitors and visitors alike, Hospitality Qatar 2015 will include four features: B2B matchmaking, Salon Culinaire, Mocktail competition and Innovation Zone.

The show will feature a business-to-business matchmaking platform which will host buyers, decision makers, hoteliers, chiefs, procurements and marketing directors to meet with suppliers during the show, through a set of pre-arranged meetings.

Another feature will be the Salon Culinaire which will attract the country's leading chefs to compete across fifteen categories. The Salon Culinaire is organized and co-organized by IFP Qatar LLC and the Qatar Culinary Professionals association respectively. It will also be supervised by the World Association of Chefs Societies for Africa & the Middle East (WACS) and judged by 10 regional and international judges. Moreover, to add some zest, Hospitality Qatar 2015 will also feature a Mocktail Competition, a great opportunity for HORECA bartenders to test their knowledge and compete against each other for the tastiest mocktail in Doha.

The show also includes a special area, the Innovation Zone, which will be dedicated to all the latest products and technologies of the hospitality / HORECA industry. Companies can exhibit their newly invented state-of-the-art products in this zone. — SG
