Riyadh Marriott Hotel bagged the highest number of medals in the HORECA 2011 Salon Culinaire competition held during an exhibition between June 12-15 at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center. The chefs from Riyadh Marriott participated in the competition in various categories including the display of: Cold Canapés, Chocolate Showpiece, Bread Display, Live Saudi Dish, Live Meat Dish, Live Sushi, Live Fruit & Vegetable Carvings. A number of expert chefs participated from all top hotels. Marriot's Executive Chef, Hassan Warda, backed all participating chefs with his creative expertise in all categories and said that this inaugural HORECA hospitality exhibition has provided a huge creative space and experience to all those involved with the hospitality and culinary business. Khaldoun Hayajneh, General Manager of Marriot Riyadh, hosted a celebratory event for all the winners and thanked them for all the hard work. Raed Handal, Director of Food and Beverage proposed a vote of thanks. The event was attended by several executive team members and other associates who joined in to support and cheer the winners. __
