Faiz Al-Najdi RIYADH — Education is the most powerful weapon that one can use to change the world so graduation is not an end but the start of a bright journey. This was stated by Ayesha Abid, wife of community welfare attaché at the Embassy of Pakistan Syed Hammad Abid, during the graduation ceremony at Bright Future International School here. Abid attended the graduation ceremony as the chief guest, representing Nighat Manzoor, wife of Pakistan Ambassador Manzoor-ul-Haq. Other guests included Dr. Saiyyara, Shah Faisal Kaker, Sadia Nadir and Dr. Nida Qureshi. The function started at 10 a.m. with the recitation of Qur'an by Faryaal Latif, a grade 2 student. Senior teacher Saadia Shiraz officially commenced the event by welcoming the chief guest. The little champions of KG-2 Aimen Ashraf, Maryam Abrahim, Youser Al-Shalwi, Mohammad Abu Raddaha, Arsalan Mehmoud, Mohammad Ammar, Mohammad Moosa, Shaden Siddique, Adam Aymen Meher, Mohammad Hassam Eddin Kadoor, Rayyan Shahid, Yazid Bandar Al-Kheiriji and Abdullah Kashif made a very pleasing performance on the beats of a welcome song prepared by Sidra Jawad. Earlier the guests were accorded a guard of honor, which was participated by Bahaa Ahmed, Shazeb Ali, Abdul Basit, Faryal Ibrahim, Ayesha Ibrahim, Nema Ibrahim, Mohammad Muaz Malik, Suha Khan, Simrah Shiraz, Abdullah Ibrahim, Fahad Ali and Meerab Wajid. It was choreographed by Vivian and Rose. The national anthems of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were also played. Every class gave their performances with grace and got a big round of applause, which included graduation song of KG-1 by Jumana, Sara Mohammad, Elyana Alassiri, Rowa, Jahanara Aurangzeb, Izma Firasat, Zahra Batool, Alishba Abid, Hooriyah Rehan, Jazim, Basim Farhan, Ahmed Ali, Talal, Omer Farooq, Ali Imran, Abu Baker, Fatima Jawad, Anasia. The song was prepared by Rabab Farhan and Fatima Waqar. Urdu poem “Aalo Miyan” was prepared by Ayesha Sarfraz and Sidra Jawad. The participants included Aimen Ashraf, Maryam Abrahim, Youser Al-Shalwi, Mohammd Abu Raddaha, Arsalan Mehmoud, Mohammad Ammar, Mohammad Moosa, Shaden Siddique, Adam Aymen Meher, Mohammad Hassam Eddin Kadoor, Rayyan Shahid, Yazid Bandar Al-Kheiriji, Abdullah Kashif, Mehzil Farhan, Hadiyah Nadeem, Mohammad Ammar, Ibrahim Ahmed and Asad Elahi. A touching song on the topic of mother was prepared by Munirah and Badirah. The participants included Lara Mohammad Tamam, Abdul Latif Ibrahim, Mohammad Muaz, Tania Mansoor and Nema Ibrahim. Shaden Siddiqui, Youser, Ahmad Mohammad Al-Abass, Aimen Ashraf, Yazeed Bandar Al-Kheriji, Adam Ayman Meher, Mohammad Hossam Eddin Kadoor and Loura Mansour presented an amazing Arabic song prepared by Ghada and Ashwaq. Faryal Ibrahim, Ayesha Ibrahim, Lara Mohammad, Suha Khan, Tanya Mansoor and Meerub Wajid presented a traditional Chinese performance, choreographed by Hina Sufyan. A one-act play, “Snow White”, was presented by Abdul Basit, Meerub Wajid, Abdul Latif, Simrah Shiraz, Jehanara Aurangzeb, Hooriya Rehan, Ali Imran, Izma Firasat, Alishba Abid, Fatima Jawad and Omar Farooq. The play was prepared and directed by Saadia Shiraz. The chief guest inspired the students by highlighting the need for education at every aspect of life. She underscored the importance of being disciplined in order to reach greater heights in life. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to the graduating students by Dr. Saiyyara and the chief guest. Models and yearly activities of arts and crafts by the students were displayed. School Chairman Mohammad Qasim Al-Qurashi, members of the Board of Directors Faisal Al-Qurashi, Nadir Alam and Reem Mufti appreciated the performance by children and thanked Principal Adhwa Jamal and Supervisor Afsheen Khalid for organizing the marvelous ceremony. Chief Guest Abid was presented with a memento by Dr. Saiyyara, the chairman's wife. Dr. Saiyyara also distributed appreciation certificates to the teaching staff. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthems of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
