Saliheen, Butt Sports, Deccan Knights, ALJ, BTC win

Saliheen beat Saudia City by 24 runs as, Butt Sports Club won over new entrants Khulais Cricketers by 57 runs, KAIA lost to Deccan Knights by 49 runs and ALJ defeated Al-Ghudaid by 47 runs in the first week matches of the second Al-Harazi Cup JCA Division II Championship.
This tournament is sponsored by Al-Harazi Trading & Contracting Est. for the second consecutive year and is organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
Saliheen, batting first, made 188-6 against the Saudia City. Opener Akhlaq hit 40 and Irfan Malik made the highest runs for his team with 59. Later Azeem 9, Ilyas 24, Abdul Razzaq 32 not out propped up their score. Veteran fast bowler Khalid Karim claimed 2 wickets while Jawad, Farhan and Younus took one each.
In reply, Saudi City was all out for 164 in 18 overs. Akram made 75, Mehboob 24 and Khalid Karim 13. Abid grabbed 3 wickets, Roofi 2 and Akhlaq 1.
Butt Sports, batting first, made 179-5 in the allotted 18 overs against Khulais Cricketers. Opener Imran Butt scored 28 while his partner Tariq Siddiqui made 16. Later Irfan Butt made 50, Amjad Ali 52 and Zahid 9 not out. Abid and Ali took 2 wickets each for 39 and 25 respectively.
In reply, Khulais Cricketers were bundled out for 122 in 18 overs. Aslam 38, Ali 23, Shahid 13 and Basharat 10 impressed with their batting but spinner Junaid Butt mesmerized the batsmen. He ended up with impressive figures of 5-19. Abid claimed 2 wickets while Javed Butt, Osama and Zahid got one each.
Deccan Knights made 199-8 in the 18 allotted overs against KAIA. After the fall of openers cheaply, Inayathullah stood firm to make 54. Aggressive Hyder hammered a timely 55, Firdous 14 and Jawad 9. Asif, Sameer and Zafar claimed one wicket each. In reply, KAIA managed 150-4 through Rubal 41, Abrar 16, Hussain 34, Asif 11 and Zafar 9. Hyder, Jawad, Inayath and Firdous took one wicket each.
Reel & Rom, batting first, made130-6 against BTC. Zia remained unbeaten on 42. Skipper Franky David made 24, Imran 22, Wajid 12 and Yaqoob 8. Arif 3-31, Rafiq, Irfan and Awar took one wicket each. In reply BTC reached 131-6 in 14.2 overs through Naeem 20, Mubashir 24, Awer 23, Asif 14 and Ibrahim 14. Yaqoob took 2-26. Zia and Vivek claimed one each.
Abdul Lateef Jameel (ALJ), batting first, made 139-6. Javed Ali hit 22 and skipper Naeemullah Khan 29. Zahid made a valuable 32, Shiraz 15 and Vijay 8. Adnan took 3-29 and Yusuf 1-21. In reply, Ghudaid was bundled out for 92. Yusuf 36, Babar 13 and Nasser 11 were the main contributors with the bat. Spin bowler Tanvir took 5-25, Zahid 2-13 and Rizwan 2
