RIYADH – International Indian School in Riyadh (IISR) reported excellent performances by its students in the All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC-Class XII) Examination. Out of 649 students appeared for the exam, 621 passed while 28 failed. The school's pass percentage is 95.7, said Principal S.M. Shaukat Perwez. “A total of 507 students passed with distinction and first class while 44 students got second division and eight were in third division,” he said. Hyder Ali, chairman of the managing committee, congratulated the students for their outstanding performance. While commending their hard work, he wished them every success in their future endeavor. Ali thanked the teachers and parents for giving their full support to the students to score excellent results. Toppers in various streams are: Science Taha Khursheed Ahmad 95.8% Syed Uzair Ahmad 94.4% Safiyah Meraj 93.6% Commerce Haya Khursheed 92.8% Chindurani Lakshmanan 91% Tasmia Firdaus Faiza Ahmad 90.6% Humanities Neya Natrajan 92% Tayyibah Khan 88.2% Arshee Fatima 86.8% Meanwhile, Delhi Public School (DPS) Riyadh scored 100 percent results. A total of 19 students appeared for the exam. The top scorers include Surbhi Pradhan (92 percent), Husna Ishaq (84.6 percent) and Sarah Fatima (83.2 percent). The International Indian Public School-Riyadh (IIPSR) also secured 100 percent success. Ninety percent of the students obtained first division and 65 percent passed with distinction.
