Philips unveils latest healthcare innovations to uplift patient care

PHILIPS Healthcare Saudi Arabia Ltd. is showcasing healthcare innovations and solutions at the Saudi Health 2015 that opens today in Riyadh in support the government's goal to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and develop a world class healthcare system in the Kingdom.

The Ingenia 1.5T S complemented with the patient in-bore solution that creates an immersive experience, allowing the patient to relax through the exam. Alongside Ingenia 1.5T S is the Epiq7, premium ultrasound featuring an uncompromised level of clinical performance to meet the challenges of today's most demanding practices, and VISIQ designed to provide high quality clinical images.
Philips will introduce Vereos PET/CT that uses innovative silicon photomultiplier detectors insisted of traditional analog detectors, creating a step change in performance that includes approximately two-times increase in sensitivity gain that creates high image quality and improved diagnostic confidence and treatment planning with faster workflows. Also, world's first spectral-detector CT, IQon Spectral CT, will be showcased at Philips booth. In addition, Philips will showcase a selection of innovative, imaging solutions designed to deliver outstanding image quality, critical clinical information and greater connectivity. — SG
