Pak Shaheen, Stallions and Pak Eagles are Saudi ORIX champs

RIYADH — Pak Shaheen, Stallions and Pak Eagles claimed Al-Kharj, Huraymala and Riyadh zones titles, respectively, following the RCA Saudi ORIX T20 Cricket Tournament finals here recently.
The tournament was organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and sponsored by Saudi ORIX Leasing Company.
In Al-Kharj Zone, Pak Shaheen got the better of archrivals KFSH Blues by 7 wickets. Pak Shaheen put KFSH Blues into bat and it started with a bang with Nadeem Babar scoring 59 off 32 balls and Nasir Abbasi 31 off 11 balls.
After the loss of the openers, Qaiser Hussain played a great knock of 70. He was supported by Irshad Mubashir (21) as KFSH Blues posted a formidable total of 242-7. Ateeq, Abdul Wahab and Abdul Salam picked up 2 wickets each.
Chasing a huge total, Pak Shaheen started aggressively with Abdul Wahab scoring 34 of 12 balls.
Ateeq also played his part with the bat as well and hit 26, but the decisive knocks came from Ishaq Ahmed (81 off 36 balls) and Abdul Salam (79 off 32 balls). Saqib Saleem claimed 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Abdul Salam.
In Huraymala Zone, Stallions beat Hyderabadi Warriors by 4 wickets. Warriors put on 165. Imroz hit 42, Mohammed 26 and Shahnawaz 25. Aamir picked up 2 wickets and Junaid Khan 1.
Stallions achieved the target in 16.1 overs. Openers Junaid Khan and Sohail Zafar started the innings briskly and scored 56 and 66, respectively. After the loss of a few quick wickets, Adeel added 24 to help his team reach the target. Mohammed was the pick of the bowlers with 5 wickets. Man of the Match: Junaid Khan.
In Riyadh Zone, Pak Eagles beat Kingdom Warriors by 7 wickets. Kingdom Warriors were all out for 128. Wahidullah was the wrecker-in-chief as he bagged 4 wickets, while Aftab and Altaf got 2 each. Pak Eagles raced to the target in 11.5 overs. Altaf added 55 and Wahidullah 33. Man of the Match: Wahidullah. — SG
