MAKKAH — A special committee from Makkah Health Affairs shut down a makeshift medical warehouse in Al-Awali District because it did not have a license. After receiving a tipoff, inspectors raided the premises that ended up being a villa. The owner had turned one of the bedrooms into a storage facility. The officers found large numbers of medical equipment that was to be distributed to private health centers. The premises lacked basic health and safety measures. All equipment inside was confiscated and the owner taken in for questioning.
