JEDDAH — Sporting United and host Jeddah Sports Club (JSC) stole the show in the second week of the second JSC Friendship Cup Football Tournament 2015 at the Dunk grounds here recently. In Friday's matches, JSC U-14 boys blanked Al-Wurood International School 3-0 as Adam (2) and Player of the Match Mohammed Ali scored for the winner. In the U-17 encounter, JSC rallied to hold Indonesian International School 2-2. Tufanga and Farhan hit the target for Indonesian School, while Sahal Zaheer scored both the goals for JSC. JSC's Afnan Ashraf, who excelled under the bar, won the Player of the Match honor.
On Saturday, Sporting United subdued Indonesian School 2-1 in the U-17 match. Rashid Mohsin and Hatem Naser scored for the winner, while Wassan found the target for Indonesians. Salman of Sporting was adjudged Player of the Match.
In the U-14 match, Sporting ran all over Soccer Freakz, recording a thumping 6-0 win. Player of the Match Bamaroof scored a hat trick. Other scorers were Rizwan Ahmed, Shadin Rasheed and Sameer Roshan. Saudi referees officiated the matches.
