JEDDAH — The second JSC Friendship Cup Football Tournament 2015, organized by Jeddah Sports Club, began at the Dunk grounds here recently. In the opening match of the Under-14 tournament, Mahd Al-Uloom International School scored a thumping 4-1 win over Soccer Freakz Academy. Haneen (2), Shaman and Junais found the target for the winner, while Akhil Abdul Majeed scored the consolation goal for the loser.
Though Mahd Al-Uloom dominated the first half, Soccer Freakz regrouped and came back strongly in the second half but failed to find the target.
Shaman of Mahd Al-Uloom School was adjuded Player of the Match. Earlier, JSC Chairman T.P. Basheer introduced the players to Malayalam News Reporter Mayin Kutty, SIFF President Hifsu Rahman and SIFF Patron Mohammed Ali Musaliyarakath.
Saudi referees officiated the matches.
