RIYADH — The municipality shut down 39 coffee shops and detained 111 workers who were violating health regulations. Inspectors seized 127 kilograms of food products unfit for consumption. This campaign aimed to crack down on violating coffee shops to ensure consumer safety. During the campaign the municipality inspected 317 coffee shops and registered 1,134 violations.
