Saudi Arabia's spokesman for the coalition striking Houthi militias in Yemen has surprised viewers and media pundits alike with his eloquence in English, Arabic and French. Brigadier General Ahmed Asiri was interviewed Thursday by Al Hadath News Channel's Najwa Qassem, who decided to test out his French by switching languages for almost a minute.
Over the past few weeks, Asiri has been confronted every evening by the world's media as journalists fire out questions about Operation Decisive Storm in a plethora of languages.
Not only is he required to think on his feet, but Asiri has impressed viewers by responding in Arabic, English and French and left Qassem visibly amused with his lightning responses in French.
