This is in response to the article “Stop exploiting the poor,” in Saudi Gazette (April, 13). My thanks to Mahmoud Ahmad, the author, for this well written opinion column. It is true that many people irrespective of nationality are doing philanthropic work just for the sake of publicity. Your article is a timely reminder for those "do-gooders." May Almighty Allah guide us all.
