DAMMAM — Honda CC and Sate Friends scored astonishing victories in the finals of their respective divisions to lift the MoneyGram CKB 2015 trophies, sponsored by MoneyGram and organized by EPCA under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) at KCC1 and KCC2 grounds here recently. In the Premier Division final, Pak Saudi CC, which opted to bat first had a disastrous start, managed 94 runs. Shoaib made 20, Ishaq 30 and Shafiq Shafi 14. Kashif Riaz claimed 3-18, Khawar Abbas 2-9, Imran Noor 2-9 and Afaq Ahmed 2-16. Honda Team, in reply, lost both the openers cheaply but Choudhry Imran remained unbeaten on 54 off 33 balls with a six and 9 fours and Mohsin Rajput compiled 18 to steer the team to the title with almost 8 overs left. In the First Division final, Bin Delamah ADPCO was bowled out for 130 by Sate Friends. Aqeel Azad emerged the top scorer with 60 in 43 balls. Sate Friends, chasing this mediocre target, won easily as Murad Khan hammered 80 in 42 balls with a six and 14 boundaries. Safiullah made 20 and Sayed Wasay 23. The finals were graced by SCC CEO Nadeem Nadwi, SCC official Rahat Choudhry, EPCA President Farhath Mahmood, other former and present EPCA officials Sajjad Nawab Zahid Haider, Marghoob Khan, Syed Iqbal, Saleem, Khawar Shahzad and Tariq Tanveer.
