JEDDAH — The recent heavy rains that caused floods in various parts of the Kingdom have killed 11 people, left three missing and trapped 456 vehicles, the Directorate General of Civil Defense announced on Thursday. It said four people died in Makkah region, three in Asir, three in Najran and one in Riyadh. The directorate said its personnel were able to rescue 317 citizens and expatriates who were beleaguered by the rains and floods. It said the rescue operations were continuing for the missing people.
