HOFOUF — Al-Ahsa Municipality seized and destroyed 2,400 tons of expired food items from a cultural restaurant and warehouse. Municipality spokesman Khalid Bowshal said the municipality's inspectors recorded numerous violations, including an unsanitary kitchen and preparation area where insects and rodents roamed, incorrect storing of food and use of unsanitary cooking utensils.
