HOFOUF, Ahsa — Municipality inspectors closed down a restaurant here after finding a number of violations and bottles of what is suspected to be urine. Al-Ahsa Municipality spokesman Khalid Boshal said the bottles have been taken to the municipality's laboratory for testing. The municipality suspects the workers have been using the bottles as urinals as there was no restroom in the restaurant. There is no evidence that the bottles have been used for cooking or mixed with cooking oil. He added that the workers' health licenses were invalid and the methods used to store food violated health regulations. The restaurant has been temporarily closed until it rectifies the violations.
