I am writing with regard to the article "Expats commit a crime every 24 minutes" (Mar. 2). Just for the record, I had a bag snatched from my arm and a friend of mine was the victim of an attempted theft. In both cases, Saudis were the culprits. And how about all these murder cases we keep hearing about in the news? A vast majority of them are committed by Saudi nationals. One has to wonder just how accurate the crime statistics reported in the article really are. Bob Tram, Online response As an expat with two kids and a full-time job and one crime every 24 minutes, I am apparently a lot busier than I thought I was. I was wondering whether weekends are included, or do we get time off from our busy schedule of trafficking, abuse, rape and murder? And as a woman, I do not drive, so that means 9.9 percent less criminal acts for me. Probably one every 60 minutes, right? Sarah, Online response
