Saudi Gazette report BURAIDA – Police arrested a young Saudi for impersonating a security official and robbing over 30 expatriates in Al-Qassim region. Badr Al-Suhaibani, spokesman of Al-Qassim police, said that the con man was found involved in at least in 31 cases of cheating and robbery and all the victims were expatriates, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The modus operandi of the con man was to demand the iqamas (residency permits) of expatriates posing as security official and run away with the wallets of his victims. Al-Qassim police launched a massive manhunt after receiving complaints from several expatriates from Buraidah, Onaizah, Al-Rass, Al-Badaie, Al-Bokairiyah and Markaz Al-Basr. The man, a wanted criminal, was caught red-handed from Al-Badaie.
