RIYADH — Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) on Sunday advised people to keep indoors and use face masks while going out in view of a strong wind blowing sand and dirt in the atmosphere in Riyadh city and several governorates of the region. The advice also included the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Northern Border and the Eastern Province. In its weather forecast for Monday, PME said surface winds will continue to kick dust causing low visibility in some parts of Makkah and Madinah regions and the northern, central, eastern and southern regions. The skies will be partially cloudy in the northern, eastern and southern regions of the Kingdom. The weather on Sunday was partially cloudy and there were active winds in the northern, central and eastern parts of the Kingdom with light rain in Hafr Al-Batin and Al-Khafji. There were active winds in Makkah, Madinah and Najran regions. Temperatures dropped in the northern parts of the Kingdom with fog in Al-Jouf and Northern Border regions.
