Mehran, Sager and PTI lift Static Zone T20 Cups

RIYADH — Mehran clinched the Super League crown, Sager the Premier I League title and PTI the Premier II League Cup for the Static Zone T20 Cricket Tournament at RCL Complex here recently.
Mehran CC claimed the Super League crown beating Super CC by 39 runs. Batting first, Mehran put on 260. Ibrahim (85) and Mohammed Hussain (63) provided a good opening stand of 165. Rashid Mirza and Shafiq took 2 wickets each. In reply, Super could make only 221. Rashid Mirza scored 91 and Shafeeq 53. Man of the Match: Ibrahim.
Sager CC beat JAMIAA CC by 34 runs to bag the Premier I League title. Sager set a target of 187. Ziaurrehman hit 43, Attaurrehman 20, Zakariya 18 and Naveed 14. Moin took 2 wickets. In reply, JAMIAA was restricted to 152. Mushtaq scored 35 and Nisar 28. Naveed scalped 4 wickets. Man of the Match: Naveed Muhammed.
PTI won the Premier II League crown beating Kokan Green CC by 16 runs. PTI scored 181 with Irfan contributing 86, Waqar 25 and Inam 22. Kokan Green was bowled out for 165. Inam bowled well and claimed 4 wickets. Man of the Match: Irfan.
The prize distribution ceremony took place at RCL Cricket Complex. Aftab Ahmed, CEO of Zahoor Anwar Al-Hassen Est. was the chief guest. AR Sports sponsored cricket gear for top players. The ceremony started with recitation from the Holy Qur'an and Asif Shaikh welcomed the guests. Jawaid Munawar thanked the sponsor and teams and spoke about the upcoming MoneyGram T20 cricket tournament.

Man of the Match (semifinals) — Faik of Kokan Green CC and Shahid of PTI CC; Man of the Match (final) Irfan of PTI; Best Batsman - Hassen of Pure Health CC; Best Bowler — Bashir of Pure Health; Best All-rounder — Ashfaque of Cricketers Club.
Premier-I League
Man of the Match (semifinals) — Mushtaq of JAMIAA CC and Salman of Sager CC; Man of the Match (final) — Ziaurrehman of Sager CC. Best Batsman — Mushtaq of JAMIAA CC; Best Bowler — Feroz Khan of Maestro CC; Player of the Tournament — Shakeel of Riyadh Blues CC.
Super Division
Man of the Match (semifinals) — Shahid of Super CC and Ibrahim of Mehran CC; Man of the Match (final) — Ibrahim of Mehran CC; Best Batsman — Abubaker of CRICKET SAMARWA; Best Bowler — Ibrahim of Mehran CC; Player of the Tournament — Rashid Mirza of Super CC.
Special awards were given to umpires who officiated the semifinal and final matches i.e. Mubeen Malik, Ali, Afzal, Suhail, Asif Shaikh, Shami and Hassan.
