Shershad, Zahideen and Zainullah shine in RCA T20 tourney

RIYADH — The T20 Cricket Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) saw thrilling encounters here recently.
In the Hayer Cricket League, Green Bangla beat Thales by 6 wickets. Thales scored 169. Babu Manik picked 3 wickets. Green Bangla achieved the target in 16.3 overs. Amir scored 62.
White Star edged Nouman Gymkhana by 12 runs. White Star scored 177-6. Mudassir and Irfan scored 73 and 22 runs, respectively. Afzal took 2 wickets. Nouman Gymkhana could score only 165-5. Amjad and Aftab hit 41 and 34 runs, respectively. Irfan Sagar bagged 2 wickets.
TBCC thrashed Rawdah Heats by 9 wickets. Shershad bundled Rawdah out for 92 thanks to a devastating spell in which he took 5 wickets. TBCC raced to the target in 9.4 overs. Faisal hit 47 and Ashraf 40.
Lahore Badshah Green punished Flynas Avengers by 7 wickets. Flynas Avengers put on 186-6. Rizwan and Zahid scored 48 and 44 runs, respectively.
Zahideen took 3 wickets. Lahore Badshah easily chased the target in 15.4 overs. Zahideen scored a blistering innings of 108 runs off 48 balls.
Pak Eagles thrashed Imran-XI in another one-sided affair. Imran-XI scored 120. Wahid, Altaf and Aftab picked 3 wickets each. Pak Eagles were home in 10.4 overs. Altaf scored 36.

In Diriyah Cricket League, Friends-XI beat Challengers-XI by 20 runs. Friends-XI scored 162. Abdul Rahman hit 48. Ihsan and Ganesh took 2 wickets each. Challengers-XI could only manage 142 in reply. Abdul Rahman and Sufiyan took 2 wickets each.
Kashmir-XI thumped Punjab Stars by 5 wickets. Punjab Stars scored 153. Ashfaq took 3 wickets. Kashmir-XI reached the target in 18.2 overs. Shabir added 36.
Strikers punished Royal Strikers by 6 wickets. Royal Strikers scored 181. Strikers achieved the target in 19.3 overs. Ammar hit 76.
Pak Saudi Warriors beat Al-Momen International School by 33 runs. Pak Saudi Warriors scored 168-6 with Raza hitting 82. Al-Momen managed 131. Usman took 3 wickets.
Pakhtunkhawa Gladiators downed Hayat Warriors by 4 wickets. Put into bat, Hayat Warriors managed 152. Salman hit 44 and Naveed 40. Noman bagged 5 wickets and Ayaz 2. Pakhtunkhawa Gladiators reached the target in 14.5 overs. Ayaz scored 56 and Qasim 49.
Pasban downed Kashmir Strikers by 62 runs. Pasban posted 202 with Sulaiman scoring 65. Khurram took 3 wickets. Kashmir Strikers were bundled out for 140. Shabir Ali was the top-scorer with 52. Zainullah took 4 wickets.
