TORONTO — First baseman Jose Bautista singled to right field with the bases loaded and none out in the 19th inning as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Detroit Tigers 6-5 in the American League here Sunday. Right-hander Rick Porcello (13-7), usually a starter for the Tigers, entered the game in the bottom of the 17th and took the loss. It was Toronto's longest ever game (six hours and 37 minutes) and the first time they had played 19 innings. It was the second day in a row that the Blue Jays (63-56) tied the Tigers (63-52) in the ninth and won in extra innings as they took the rubber match of the three-game series. Red Sox 3, Angels 1: Yoenis Cespedes hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning, giving the Boston Red Sox victory over the Los Angeles Angels.
