TAIF — Seven women burned to death when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned and caught fire in Al-Muwaih, Taif. All the women were illegal residents of African origin. The driver was speeding to evade patrol police when the vehicle swerved off the road and ran into three cars and an electricity pole before it overturned. Four occupants of other cars were injured in the accident while two others fled the scene, fearing arrest. Taif Health Directorate spokesman Seraj Al-Hemaidan said five of the bodies were taken to Thulum Hospital mortuary and two to Al-Muwaih Hospital mortuary.
