226 guns seized from smugglers in 3 months

DHAHRAN AL-JANOUB — Border Guards foiled the smuggling of 226 firearms and 6,290 bullets during the third quarter of this year. Asir Border Guards spokesman Brig. Abdullah Al-Hamrani said patrol teams have detained 3,924 infiltrators during the same period, in addition to seizing 29 kilograms of hashish and 978 kilograms of qat. He added that patrols are continuously monitoring the borders to foil any attempts to smuggle weapons or narcotics and detain any infiltrators into the country.
