AL-BAHA – Seven members of a family in Al-Baha suffocated to death after a fire broke out in their one-story home on Tuesday. Deputy spokesman of Al-Baha Civil Defense Lt. Col. Abdullah Al-Thabyah said firefighters dispatched to the scene contained the fire from spreading to nearby houses. He added that the house's owner's son managed to remove the victims' bodies from the burning house before the Civil Defense arrived and ambulances transported them to the mortuary. The site was handed over to the police for further investigations.
