RIYADH — Police have detained two Saudis and an expatriate driver suspected of assaulting another citizen and firing shots in the air. The victim had notified Al-Sahafah neighborhood police center that two men had attacked him outside his house, injuring his head, before firing three shots in the air and fleeing in a vehicle driven by a third person. Search and investigation teams were successful in locating the suspects in a hotel where they were staying and found narcotic pills and hashish in their room. Police searched their houses and found the driver had narcotic pills in his room as well. They were detained and referred to investigation authorities.
