Saudi Gazette report RIYADH – The Special Criminal Court in Jeddah on Tuesday sentenced 17 terror suspects to jail terms ranging from six months and 28 years. The convicts, including 16 Saudis and a Yemeni, were part of 71 men belonging to Al-Nakheel Cell, who were arrested following a bloody raid on their hideout in Riyadh's Al-Nakheel district in 2006. The charges against the suspects included forming terror cell, embracing deviant ideology, shooting at security men, disobeying rulers, targeting princes, security men and scholars, and possession of unlicensed weapons.
