The new paint, Al-Jazeera Oxy Care, is considered to be “the latest environmentally responsible paint manufactured by the company based on its adoption of the green buildings concept”. Nasser Bin Mohammad Al-Romaih, an engineer and Al-Jazeera Paints Deputy General Manager, speaking on the sidelines of the 3rd Saudi Paints & Colors conference, described the product as “a paint with a new concept that preserves the inner quality of the air and keeps it healthy and safe based on Formaldehyde-lock technology emulsion by absorbing it from its various sources, such as cigarettes, some types of furniture and furnishings, wallpaper, insulation material and even some paints as well'. He explained that Al-Jazeera Oxy Care can be used in surgery rooms in hospitals, the patients' rooms and house rooms and is available in a wide range of colors. He made the claim during the conference's activities held recently in Jeddah with the participation of 33 researchers, experts and specialists from 15 Arab and foreign countries. They represented well-known institutions, universities, scientific research groups as well as specialized international, Arab and local companies in addition to more than 500 engineers, consultants and construction stakeholders.
