Jazeera Paints has once again proved itself as an innovative company and way ahead of its competition. This time around, it is not just by offering the best quality paints but demonstrating its safety commitment by offering the fire retardant intumsecent coatings of the highest performance. "Once again we are using the technology and innovation to meet our social responsibility by top-prioritizing our community health and safety by contributing towards protecting lives and properties from accidental fires. We take pride in being the first one in the Middle East region and the first Saudi company to come up with an extensively researched product providing the safety for the building structures and lives by offering the high quality intumescent coatings having a high rating from Underwriters Laboratories Inc.(UL)," Saud Al-Rumaih, Vice President and co-founder of the company, said in a statement.
Al-Jazeera Paints has achieved a unique distinction in terms of its achievement in getting the UL certificate for its mastic and intumescent coating product, Jazeera Firedamp 263 under fire resistance classification design No(s). Y617, Y618. This distinction is unique in many ways as this is the first historic instance wherein this has been given to any paint company in the whole Middle East.
"Bagging the coveted UL certificate will always be very special one as this concerns our community lives and building safety. And we have added a new dimension to our strategy where we are showing leadership not only in our enviable product range of decorative and architectural coating but also going stronger in the industrial and protective coatings," Abdullah Al-Rumaih, General Manager, said, adding that "in our list of numerous achievements, our goal is to be the first choice for any quality paint requirements irrespective of the type, substrate, size, color etc."
He further said "we will continue our policy of differentiating our product by using the technical know how by pushing to its limits. All this had been possible based on our over a quarter century of rich experience which has helped us in positioning our product uniquely." "Differentiating by technology and innovation enables us to add new feathers to our already decorated cap," he noted.
The unprecedented achievement attained as a result of endless effort, rigorous researches, hard work, unwavering and focused approach demonstrated by the team involved in this project under direct able guidance and motivational leadership of Al-Rumaih.
The awarding of UL to Al-Jazeera for its fire retardant intumescent paint is a giant stride for a paint company in the sphere of fire safety. "Now, this achievement will definitely improve the already high confidence levels shown by the architects, engineers, builders and contractors in Al-Jazeera products where on one hand their green building and environmentally responsible paints concern is taken care by our offering of green seal GS11 product range and on the other hand fire safety concern for the building paints will be taken care by our new Firedamp 263."
"We shall always strive in our passionate pursuits to give our customer the highest possible value of their trust in our product," said Muhammad A. Al-Rumaih, President and co-founder of the company during an internal strategic meet. He also said Al-Jazeera strategy has been to offer the best in terms of its quality as well as environment and safety performance aspects at affordable prices for our customers.
