RIYADH — The Ministry of Justice has announced the cancellation of setting up appointments through its e-gate as of today (Sunday). Now the public can go to the notary public offices in different regions of the Kingdom and obtain services without delay. Ministry of Justice spokesman Fahd Abdullah Al-Bakran said the cessation of appointment services will be effective from Sunday. He said this step has come after the ministry has provided the required technical capabilities in the notary public offices and improved its services. There are 86 first notary public offices in different regions of the Kingdom that function according to the electronic system. There are 480 notaries public in them. The number of employees in first notary public offices has reached 2418. There are 203 second notary public offices that function using the electronic system. They have 379 notaries public with a total number of employees reaching 2,873. -- SPA
