JEDDAH — Abdul Latif Jameel Company (ALJ) signed an agreement with Balubaid Company, through which ALJ will rent from Balubaid six large workshops for 15 years, for its after sales services. The new workshops, which are distributed in several cities of the Kingdom, will enable ALJ to increase its after-sales services by 110,000 units per year, and will improve the service by providing easy access and top services to Toyota owners in the Kingdom. The agreement was signed by ALJ president, Engineer Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel, and Balubaid CEO, Khaled Omer Balubaid. Commenting on the agreement, Jameel said: “The purpose of this agreement is to come nearer to Toyota owners, improve the level of service provided to them, and to increase the capacity of our after sales services in the Kingdom, which will help us to serve our Toyota customers faster.” On other hand, Balubaid thanked ALJ for signing the agreement. He said: “We are looking forward for more cooperation agreements between ALJ and Balubaid in the years to come.” ALJ operates above 1,000 after-sales service centers across the Kingdom, while delivery of spare parts has reached 98 percent. According to Nelson, Focal Point and the ALJ studies, customer satisfaction ranged between 82 percent to 86 percent in 2013, during which the company provided 57,000 training hours for its after-sales service staff, and provided 22 million work-hours in maintenance sector. After sales services staff includes more than 12,000 employees who secured the first position for the company through a period of 38 years. All such achievements are attributed to the outstanding performance and the valuable services that ALJ is providing and improving day after day, since 1955. — SG
