TAIF — Security bodies on Monday arrested a man for assaulting a citizen and threatening him with a gun. Makkah Province police spokesman, Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi, said security patrols were notified that a young man was allegedly assaulted by two citizens due to a dispute. He added that security patrols immediately rushed to the site, near a hospital in Al-Sadad neighborhood, and arrested one of the offenders. The other offender managed to flee, while the victim sustained minor injuries and was provided necessary treatment in a nearby hospital. Search for the other culprit is underway.
