MAKKAH - Police have arrested a citizen suspected of stealing cars in a number of neighborhoods in Makkah. The city's police spokesman, Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi, said officers received a report from a Saudi victim whose car had been stolen and immediately began their investigating. Police focused their attention on their suspect and arrested him. He admitted to stealing the car and to other similar thefts. He said he drove the cars to a remote area, stole their contents and left the vehicles behind. The suspect was referred to investigation bodies for further questioning.
