JEDDAH — Jeddah Police arrested an Asian member of a three-man gang accused of assaulting a Saudi man after he left a local bank carrying SR300,000 in cash. A search is underway for his two accomplices. First Lt. Nawaf Al-Bouq, Spokesman of Jeddah Police, said a Saudi national was attacked by a three-man gang that pursued his car until he entered a side street in Al-Safa district. The gang then allegedly rear-ended his car to force him to get out of the vehicle. They then attacked and beat up the citizen but were unable to steal the cash. The citizen was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
