TAIF — The Civil Defense announced on Monday that they were able to contain a fire that broke out at a furniture factory in Al-Halaqa district. They ruled out any foul play and said the fire might have been caused by an electric shortage. The Civil Defense said they mobilized their fire-fighting brigades and equipment and were able to douse the fire before it spread to other nearby locations. Civil Defense spokesman Col. Nasser Bin Sultan Al-Sharif said no deaths or casualties were reported.
