RIYADH – Police search and investigation teams have arrested a Saudi man suspected of robbing SR1.35 million at gunpoint from two people. Officers were notified by one of the victims that they were depositing money in an ATM machine when a masked man approached them holding a gun. He stole a bag carrying the money and fled in a nearby car. Police conducted an intensive search and arrested their suspect. The man admitted to the robbery and said he had already spent SR740,000 of the money on new cars. The vehicles were confiscated and the case has been referred to investigation bodies.
