WPCA set for Super Sixes

JEDDAH — Zultrack, Hala School and Nestle Milo as leaders and Hyundai Naghi, Dopco Young Stars and Al-Safri as runners-up have qualified for the Super Sixes in the Afternoon Division, while three matches took place in the Premier Division, sponsored by MoneyGram and conducted by WPCA under the aegis of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) here recently.
Premier Division
In the first match, Hala Friends defeated IDB by 8 wickets. IDB posted 136 for 7 with Zeeshan and Farook making identical 28. Khalid Iqbal took 3-20. Hala Friends reached 137 in 86 balls through Anis Malik 51 and Wajahat 36.

My Care Hala thrashed Al-Ghamdi CS by 8 wickets. Al-Ghamdi was bowled out for 156. Faisal made 39 and Sufiyan 27. Adnan took 3-26, while Hussain Bhatti and Faheem got 2 each. My Care Hala chased down 157 for 2 in 87 balls through Moazzam hammering an unbeaten 88 in 48 balls and Babar making 40. Waleed claimed 2 wickets.
Dopco Stars trounced Al-Saudi-XI by 47 runs. Dopco Stars piled up 201 for 6. Shahbaz Rasheed made 46, Khurram 44, Afaq 38 and Shoaib Ali 37. Abdulqadir scalped 4 for 27. Al-Saudi XI was restricted to 154. Nazeer Farooqui hit 47 and Mazher 37. Asim and Shoaib got 3 wickets and Khurram 2.
Afternoon Division
Hyundai Naghi won against Elaf by 5 wickets. Elaf Advance posted 143 for 8 through Ali Anser 52 and Usman 29. Talha took 3 wickets, Wajid 2 and Faheem 2. Hyundai achieved 148 for 5 in 66 balls as Saleem Nahdi scored 51 and Irfan 30.
Limitless won against Fuchs Alhamrani by 2 runs. Limitless piled up 176 for 6, thanks to Usman Ali making 67 and Rashid 37. Irfan Alwi took 4 for 23. Fuchs Alhamrani replied with 174 for 4, falling short by 2 runs. Abdul Ghafoor hit 63, Nasir Khan 34 and Fareed 31. Zafran claimed 2 wickets.
Marine Services downed Arab Lankans by 73 runs. Marine Services racked up 194 for 7 as Riyaz made 48, Naseer 28 and Shakeel 27. Imran took 2 wickets. Arab Lankans, while chasing, were stranded at 121 for 7. Waseem hit an unbeaten 59 and Rumesh 30. Shahzad took 3 wickets and Asghar 2.
Dopco Young Stars thrashed AMI Juffali by 125 runs. Dopco Young Stars produced 194 for 5 through Fahad 66 and Kashif 55. Najam Uzbak claimed 2 wickets. AMI Juffali, in reply, crashed for 69 as Yasser Mohammed bowled devastatingly to take 7 for 13 and Javed 3-10.
Al-Safri defeated APF by 6 wickets. APF was bundled out for 118. Maqsood hit 43 and Irfan 31. Aftab Malik took 3 for 23, while Manjeet and Zafar got 2 each. Al-Safri reached 119 for 4 in 71 balls through Aftab Malik 33, Sohail 30 and Muneeb 28.
Contraco won against Hala Academy Blue by 13 runs. Contraco plundered 204 for 6 through Khurram 86 in 44 balls and Sami 59. Haider and Zahid claimed 2 wickets each. Hala Academy Blue replied with 191 with Abdulaleem making 46, Mohammed Khan 32 and Usman 28. Irfan and Haider claimed 2 each.
