JEDDAH — A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. A mother is she who can take the place of all the others, but whose place no one else can take. “Nothing compares to a mother's love. It's an unconditional love that drives her to always provide her children with the very best of her loving care, nurturing and nutrition. A mother knows just how vital good nutrition and nourishment are for her children; to help them achieve their dreams tomorrow,” said a nutritionist at Nestle NIDO. In accordance with the upcoming Mother's Day, Nestle NIDO Fortifitied is conducting the “I LOVE MAMA” painting competition in schools across the city for children between 7 and 10 years of age during February and March 2014. The contest is to cherish the special bond of love between a mom and child. When the child participates in the “I LOVE U MAMA” competition and paints a picture expressing his or her love for the mom, Nestle will be uploading the paintings anonymously under the school's name on its website. Each painting is allotted a unique registration number through which the paintings can be shared with family and friends. A panel of judges from NESTLE NIDO will select the best painting from the child's school to win a gold-heart pendant. The most liked pictures on Facebook from different countries in the Middle East will also be awarded with a gold heart pendant, a precious gift to celebrate their love.
